This is my Fect Doll Xueling (also called Snow Spirit) from Fect Doll - http://www.fect-doll.com/en/index.asp (also can be found via http://www.mqdoll.com/category.php?id=55 as well)
It seems to be a rather unpopular, or not very well known company. All their dolls are gorgeous though.
She’s lovely, thank you so much for sharing her with us.
So this happened and I’m so happy to see this blog growing. I kinda want to do a small giveaway if/when we reach 250 followers, but I don’t have much to offer outside of some msd clothing/wigs/props or my own skill at doing face-ups(and I’m decent but not all that great) so not much of a prize either way.
Wondering if it would be worth doing, and if I do what would people prefer as a prize?
Sora is my sister’s Asleep Eidolon Blueberry on an AOD body. I own an Asleep Eidolon Yara myself (if you want me to submit her too I can do that) and we both absolutely love their headmolds.
You can buy ASleep Eidolon dolls from their Taobao, their Hong Kong Dealer or Mint on Card and I would definetely recommend them to everybody.
Sora looks so precious.
(And yes please submit your Yara too.)
This is Ludwig, my Mystic kids’ Francis. I don’t get to see mystic kids’ molds arround all that much, but they are beautiful and the resin is really nice too. the body can also pose nicely imo.
Such a cutie! I love how you’ve styled him.
Magic Time Doll
Another company featured in that confession. Magic Time is available through ebay and www.mqdoll.com. They offer 1/4(currently only available on ebay) and 1/6 sized dolls. Some interesting features are the changeable ears(human and elf) and offer jointed hands for both 1/4 and 1/6 dolls and various fantasy parts(horns, wings, and tails.)
I was originally a little nervous about posting information about this company as the 1/4 sized dolls look extremely similar to Fairyland minifees. There are some difference, but they are close enough I had concerns about them being modified recasts. Enough so that I contacted Fairyland about them, this was their response.
Thank you for taking the time to inform us. We have been receiving number of
inquiries about this company and have been in contact with them directly. They
contacted us explaining that it was not their intention to create identically
looking dolls to MiniFee and promised to take those dolls off the website. It
appears that they decided not to in the end from looking at the website
however. We cannot tell if the doll creator was simply inspired by our
products or modified our dolls to make his or her design. Seeing that they
initially made efforts to contact FairyLand to explain the situation, however,
does make them different to other illegal recast doll companies elsewhere.
I have seen in previous cases of dolls being modified people were still able to identify the base doll(typically via photo overlay.) At this point it would probably take a side by side comparison of the two brands to determine if Magic Time did actually recast Fairyland parts to make their dolls. So I decided to go with innocent until proven guilty and share them here.
My Island Doll Wallis, Jerrica. Island Dolls in general aren’t seen very often, but I’ve only seen owner photos of two others of this mold.
Oooh, she’s lovely and awesome outfit.
I’m hoping the photo shows up. This is, Tugger, my 5StarDoll Quintus.
Hee! IS he trying to help you with crafting?
Ok here’s the first of underrated bjd companies mentioned in a certain confession. Fect-doll is a company that operates out of China, and sells through their own website http://www.fect-doll.com/en/index.asp and a dealer http://www.mqdoll.com. They offer 3 sizes of dolls, 1/3, 1/4 and 1/6 with prices ranging from 290$ for the a blank 1/3 size, 190$ for the 1/4 and 104.50$ for the 1/6. And 4 skin tones pink, yellow, normal and white.
The molds I have displayed (from top to bottom) are Seecher, Partiya, and Kamir.
I would recommend looking at the companies website as they offer pics of the nude bodies.
I’m afraid I don’t have anymore information available as the company is not well known, but if anyone ends up bringing on of them home please tell us of you experience and share your doll with everyone.
This girl is my Doll Chateau Bella named Eirwen. She’s a winter spirit and has been loving all the snow we’ve been getting this year~
